WildE Planet is a wildlife and environmental education hub focused on making wildlife and conservation easier to understand.
Our Story
WildE Planet grew out of BigCatsWildCats.com, a project started more than 10 years ago to provide in-depth information about big and small wild cats and help people connect with wild cat conservation groups.
With WildE Planet, we are expanding beyond big cats to cover wildlife more broadly, while keeping the same focus on clear, honest information and thoughtful education.
What You’ll Find
WildE Planet focuses on major groups of animals such as mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, insects, amphibians, and arachnids, along with the habitats and regions they depend on.
Each section is designed to be easy to explore, with straightforward explanations that connect animals to their environments.
In addition to learning about wildlife, the site also explores conservation and the animals that may be at risk. Information is presented in a way that encourages curiosity, highlights what is known and unknown, and supports a deeper understanding of how ecosystems work.

How We Work
WildE Planet is a self-funded project built around wildlife and environmental education.
We create content and products to support the work directly, rather than relying on donations or outside funding. This allows the project to grow in a steady, practical way while staying focused on its core purpose.
Proceeds from the shop and future downloads help support ongoing education efforts and the continued development of the site.
We aim to keep the structure simple and transparent, so it’s clear how the project operates and how it grows.
